FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves filtering 5-8 ml of bronchial lavage sample taken from patient, cell suspension is filtered and precipitated with centrifuging at 2500 rpm during 15 min, resuspended in Hanks solution and repeatedly centrifuged at 1500 rpm during 10 min. The obtained precipitate is resuspended in 1 ml of Hanks solution. Phagocyte concentration in the suspension is brought to 2 mln/ml. Cell suspension of phagocyte concentration in the sample equal to 1 mln is introduced into reaction mixture for recording luminol-depended chemiluminescence. Luminescence maximum of spontaneous chemiluminescence being observed in the bandwidth of 2731 to 6200 conditional units, bronchial asthma is to be diagnosed. The value being greater than 6201 conditional units, chronic obstructive bronchitis is diagnosed. Reference values are considered to be not greater than 2730 conditional units.

EFFECT: high accuracy of diagnosis; simplified test method.
