FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves recording whole venous blood chemoluminescence level in patients suffering from chronic bronchitis. When spontaneous chemoluminescence properties increase described as spontaneous luminosity being greater than 0.6 conditional units, maximum luminosity being greater than 3.0 conditional units, luminescence total being greater than 10 conditional units, and induced chemoluminescence indices being greater than 2.0, 8.0, 50.0, respectively, is accompanied by active oxygen forms production processes increase, the inflammation process is evaluated as belonging to hyperergic type. When spontaneous chemoluminescence properties reduction described as spontaneous luminosity less than 0.35 conditional units, maximum luminosity less than 1.4 conditional units, luminescence total greater than 8.0 conditional units, and induced chemoluminescence indices being less than 1.45, 4.5, 30.0, respectively, shows active oxygen forms production processes inhibition, the inflammation process is evaluated as belonging to hypoergic type. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis; provided differential administration of pathogenetic therapy.
