SUBSTANCE: novelty is use of dimethyl oxalate, ethylene glycol, its oxalic acid, glyoxalic acid, and formic acid esters, glyoxylic acid and its methyl esters, glyoxalic aldehyde, and polyethylene oxalate as fuels for charging fuel cells; fuel cells using such compounds as fuel, hybrid power supply incorporating such fuel cells, and method for determining concentration of these compounds in solution are given in description of invention.
