FIELD: testing of technical condition of electric-technical equipment, namely high voltage insulators during exploitation.
SUBSTANCE: device has case, elastic oscillation generation unit, receiving converters unit and received signals processing unit, which is connected in series with receiving converters unit. Case is provided with two guides fastened onto it. There is elastic oscillation generation unit on one guide and there is receiving converters unit on the other guide. Elastic oscillation generation and receiving converters units are both provided with tip-needle. They are spring-loaded and mounted for reciprocal and rotational motion.
EFFECT: simplified design; improved safety.
