GENERAL-PURPOSE FOOD PRODUCT PROCESSING MACHINE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: food-processing industry, in particular, machines for cutting of roots, vegetables, fruits and berries into cubes, chips and slices, as well as for cutting potato into straws for producing of fried potato.

SUBSTANCE: machine has rotor equipped with blades and mounted on drum base within its cavity. Drum is joined through flexible member to arcuate sector. Arcuate sector is connected through radial displacement mechanism to base. Discharge branch pipe is located in lower part of base. Closure mounted at drum end is equipped with aperture for feeding of products into cavities of rotor and drum. Sheeting-out knife is tangentially fixed on drum and counter knife is extending orthogonal to sheeting-out knife. Feeding device formed as drive roll and cutter drum are mounted for rotation on base. Rotor with blades, feeding device and cutter drum are equipped with drive. Machine is furnished with control panel and is additionally equipped with knives block having inserts provided between adjacent knives, set of replaceable cutter drums, cutoff member for feeding device, and mechanism for moving feeding device toward sheeting-out knife. Said mechanism is made in the form of eccentric sleeve kinematically connected with mechanism for radial displacement of arcuate sector.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of cutting of food products.
