FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, namely to the machines for cutting edible roots, vegetables, fruits and berries in cubes, chips and slices, as well as cutting potatoes when producing fried potatoes. The machine contains a drum, a rotor with blades, an outlet pipe located in the lower part of the base, a lid installed in the end-face of the drum with an opening for product inlet, a load bearing frame and layer knife, cutting unit, knife drum, rotor and knife drum drive with blades. The cutting unit is in the form of rectangular prism. In the prism cavity by the means of the axis disk knives are installed. These knives cutting edges are located in the grooves of the lower prism base. Knives cutting edges emerging from the lower edge of the prism are connected to the angular grooves on the working surface of the layer knife. On the lower edge of the hollow rectangular prism of the cutting unit that face the layer knife there is a hole in the form of angular groove. The layer knife, cutting unit and the knife drum are mounted on the load bearing frame and they are interchangeable. The load bearing frame is equipped with counter knife installed tangentially to the edges of the knife drum blades and fixed on the drum protrusion by means of support.

EFFECT: machine provides for the quality increase of the product cutting process and substantial simplification of the construction, decrease of operation costs.
