FIELD: decontamination of industrial and household sewage using ultraviolet irradiation treatment.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the treatment of industrial and household sewage by ultraviolet irradiation. The device contains a body for location of the treated water medium with a delivering branch pipe in the low part of the body and a withdrawing branch pipe in the upper part of the body, sources of the ultraviolet irradiation (UVI), which are made in the form of the U-shaped tubes and placed in the closed cylindrical quartz tubes, which are installed upright with their head part fixed and has the current leads located in the through holes of the upper traverse or on the jacket belonging to the body. On the lower driven traverse the elastic sealing rings overlapping each tube are set. Both traverses are established in a cantilever way on a linear rolling bearing established upright, and the upper traverse is supplied with a means for its periodical stopping in the upper position made in the form of the dogs orientated in plan to the upper planes of the approaching cradle. The technical result is an increased reliability and simplification of the device design.

EFFECT: the invention ensures increased reliability and simplification of the device design.
