FIELD: lubricant materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a consistent lubricant comprising oily base and thickening agent involves additionally from 0.05% to 30% weight parts of sodium thiosulfate and at least 0.1 % weight part of one or some addition agent (A) taken among the group including calcium salicylate, magnesium salicylate, calcium phenolate and/or calcium sulfonate as measure for all lubricant mass. Indicated consistent lubricant is used for prevention of corrosion and enhancing wear resistance. The consistent lubricant is prepared by preliminary mixing sodium thiosulfate with one or some addition agents (A) and addition of a lubricant-base mixture comprising the base oil and a thickening agent, or by addition sodium thiosulfate and one or some addition agents (A) to the lubricant base separately. Invention provides enhancing corrosion-inhibiting properties and wear-resistance property with retaining anti-scuffing properties.
