SUBSTANCE: proposed athermal phosphate glass has following composition: P2O5, Al2O3, B2O3, K2O, Na2O, MgO, CaO, SrO, BaO, Nd2O3, CeO2, SiO2, and Nb2O5, proportion of ingredients being as follows, mass percent: P2O5, 52 - 66; Al2O3, 3 - 6; B2O3, 0.3 - 3.3; K2O, 3 - 8; Na2O, 1.5 - 5.5; MgO, 0.2 - 2.1; CaO, 0.1 - 3; SrO, 2 - 17; BaO, 0.5 - 21; Nd2O3, 0.5 - 6; CeO2, 0.1 - 1.5; SiO2, 0.5 - 3; and Nb2O5, 1.5 - 9.
EFFECT: facilitated manufacture, enhanced heat resistance, and maximal pumping power of laser athermal phosphate glass.
