FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a phosphate laser glass doped with Nd or Yb, or Er and having the said chemical composition, a method for reducing the wavelength of the emission peak of the above phosphate laser glass comprising lanthanum and doped Nd or Yb, or Er, in which up to 100% of La2O3 is replaced with CeO2 to change the wavelength of the emission peak, and the invention discloses a mixed glass laser system, in which one glass from the mixed glass system is the said phosphate laser glass, and a method for generating a laser beam pulse using such laser system.

EFFECT: providing an emission wavelength less than 1054 nm.
