FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: electro-optical phosphate laser glass includes Na2O, CaO, P2O5, La2O3 Nd2O3, Sb2O3 with the following ratio of components, mol. %: 0.5-10 Na2O; 0.5-5 CaO; 10-30 Sb2O3; 70-61.5 P2O5; 0.1-7.4 La2O3; 7.4-0.1 Nd2O3, wherein the sum of concentrations of lanthanum and neodymium oxides is 7.5. In order to provide improved generation parameters, hydroxyl groups are removed from the glass by bubbling molten glass mass with dry oxygen. After clarifying the glass mass, the molten glass is poured into a heated graphite mould. The glass ingot is placed in a muffle furnace where rough annealing is carried out at 380-400°C for two hours, followed by inertial cooling to room temperature.
EFFECT: invention enables to produce glass which combines laser and electro-optical properties.
