FIELD: medicine, surgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should mobilize a patient's ureter, form vascular anastomosis between distal end of umbilical artery and internal iliac artery. For this purpose one should cross and tighten umbilical artery proximally at the site of its branching against internal iliac artery, cross umbilical artery distally at a level so that the length of vascular transplant could replace patient's ureter for a distance being sufficient to develop ureter-intestinal anastomosis. Finally, patient's umbilical artery should be recanalized. The innovation in question enables to keep adequate ureter's circulation.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of replacement.
