FIELD: petroleum processing.
SUBSTANCE: process consists in simple distillation wherein direct contact of liquid hydrocarbon medium and heat carrier preheated in furnace is used. Heat carrier is residue produced during separation of the same mixture, which is withdrawn from separation zone, heated and combined with starting material, while mixture fed into separation zone undergoes simultaneous throttling and dispersing. In order to separate low-boiling component vapors, pressure of mixture fed into separation zone sharply lowered. Advantageously, distillation process is combined with thermal cracking. Decomposition products are removed from separation zone jointly with low-boiling components.
EFFECT: increased heat transfer efficiency and improved economical characteristics of process.
