FIELD: industry engine building; ground, air and water transport.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, fuel cylinders are found on one crankshaft of engine which execute only first and second strokes (suction and compression with ignition of mixture) and power cylinders which always execute only third and fourth strokes (working stroke and exhaust stroke). Intermediate chamber is provided into which ignited gases from fuel cylinder are fed, thus creating definite excess pressure. Then said compressed gases through valve controlled by man pass at definite sequence into power cylinders to set into motion their pistons and rotate crankshaft and thus doing useful work.
EFFECT: simplified design of engine, increased reliability, reduced cost and improved convenience in engine control.
