FIELD: food-processing industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves cooking groats; mixing with vegetable pulp; homogenizing and drying. Groats are cooked in pectin extract with pectin substance content of 0.5-1.5%. During mixing process special preparation is additionally introduced, said preparation being produced by sequential extraction of Mortierella jenkinii micromycet biomass with the use of non-polar extractant in above-critical state, water, acid, water, alkaline, water, acid, and water, with following joining of first extract with solid residue. Said preparation is introduced in an amount of 0.01-0.02% by weight of mixture to be prepared. Baby food produced by said method allows age limitation to be reduced up to 3.5 months.

EFFECT: improved quality of base product.
