FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: the suggested elastic material designed to be applied in prosthesis consists of, at least, one layer of hardened silicone elastomer that contains silicone oil and hollow microspheres being dispersed along its whole layer. The layer of elasticized textile material could be tightly fixed to one side of silicone elastomer's layer, and compositional elastic material could be included into different elements of prostheses including absorbing pads and thickening cuffs. In the course of application in absorbing pad, compositional elastic material could be formed to develop anterior wall of greater thickness and posterior wall of lesser thickness at steady passage between anterior and posterior walls. Compositional elastic material covered with elasticized textile material could be applied as a thickening cuff between prosthesis and residual limb. Compositional elastic material can contain one or more substances for taking care of skin being introduced into silicone elastomer and mixed with it. Elastic material provides better comfort for users.
