FIELD: liquid spraying equipment, particularly with the use of ultrasound oscillations, for machinery building and combustion devices, for low-temperature and cryogenic liquid spraying, for fusible metal liquid dispersion and for aerosol distribution in medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying axisymmetric ultrasound oscillations to surface layer of the liquid in parallel to major free surface thereof. Device for above method realization includes piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer and bowl-shaped concentrator coaxial with the transducer and having varying cross-sectional thickness. In area having the highest cross-sectional thickness concentrator is rigidly connected to working pad of transducer. Concentrator has cylindrical inner surface in area having lesser cross-sectional thickness.
EFFECT: increased reliability and effectiveness of spraying system, possibility to obtain fine aerosol.
