FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to crane building and can be used when performing works concerned with demounting of electric rope pulleys and electric hoists in the course of operation. The pulley is installed near the repair site, a rigid beam of mainly round cross-section is fixed overhead across the monorail so that its ends are extended in respect to the monorail, a block pulley tackle fitted with a hook and suspended by a rope is lowered by a lifting mechanism, a loop is made on each of the two rope parts. The loop of one rope part is attached to one beam end, and the loop of the other rope part - to the other beam end. Then the lifting mechanism lifts the block pulley tackle up and draws the case to the monorail with its help. Power cable is removed from the tensioned wire rings, then carriage wheels are removed manually, the case is lowered down by the lifting mechanism, the rope loops are taken off from the beam, the rope is reeled onto the drum by the lifting mechanism and electric equipment and control system are demounted.

EFFECT: works to demount electric rope pulleys are performed without additional hoisting mechanisms being used, labour content is decreased.
