TWO-STROKE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2265738 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: proposed internal combustion engine has cylinder with cooling jacket, piston and cylinder head forming combustion chamber, exhaust channel, hydrogen and oxygen source, fuel feed device, nozzle and ignition system. Exhaust channel is made in form of exhaust port in lower part of cylinder. Hydrogen and oxygen source is made in from of electrolyzer which is installed in combustion chamber with possibility of supply of direct current to its electrodes and free passing of water solution of electrolyte and products of working process. Fuel feed device is made in form of high-pressure pump to deliver water solution of electrolyte through nozzle into cylinder. Ignition system is made in form of electrodes with adjustable gap in between for delivery of direct current, igniting and extinction of electric arc. Electrodes are installed in combustion chamber.

EFFECT: provision of fuel saving ecologically-orientated two-stroke engine.
