FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: proposed two-stroke internal combustion engine contains at least one cylinder, cooling system, piston with sealed space accommodating self-acting intake valve, and cylinder head forming combustion chamber. Engine is furnished also with force controlled exhaust valve, charger mechanically coupled with engine crankshaft communicating through feed channel with sealed space of piston and intake pipeline with suction valve communicating through restrictor with electrolyzer, and working mixture igniter. The latter is made in form of electrodes installed with possibility of adjusting gap between electrodes, delivery of direct current, striking and extinction of arc. Electrodes are arranged in combustion chamber. Working mixture in chamber dissociates and ignites under action of electric arc.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of two-stroke internal combustion engine.
