FIELD: belt drives for auxiliary machinery of internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: proposed belt drive system includes crankshaft pulley, auxiliary unit pulley, motor-generator pulley, first belt tensioner, pulley of first belt tensioner and power transmission belt tightened on crankshaft pulley, auxiliary unit pulley, motor-generator pulley and pulley of first belt tensioner. Power transmission belt has sections defined by end sections which are close to each said pulley beginning with the crankshaft pulley and ending with motor-generator pulley in way of motion of belt at normal operation; they include first of intermediate sections including end section which is close to crankshaft pulley and last intermediate section including first end section close to motor-generator. Power transmission belt has also "slack side at start" section which begins on the motor-generator pulley in way of motion of belt at normal operation. "Slack side" section has second end section which is close to motor-generator pulley and lower end section which is opposite to second end section of motor-generator pulley. Pulley of first tensioner is close to end section of intermediate section which is neither end section of crankshaft pulley nor first end section of motor-generator pulley; second tensioner is brought in contact with power transmission belt but is not close to end sections of intermediate sections.

EFFECT: reduction of noise arising in the course of braking.
