FIELD: welding processes and equipment, namely electric arc welding of rail zone.
SUBSTANCE: welding robot includes movable torch, first unit for controlling torch motion, second unit for automatic control of torch motion. First control unit provides motion of torch along perimeter of welded zone and it is designed foe reading data related to geometry places of welding in said zone by means of reader connected with memory device for storing read data. Second automatic control unit provides motion of torch along welded zone in range of data reading and as function of geometry welding places according to data stored in memory device.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of welding rail due to detection of concrete conditions necessary for it.
