FIELD: plastic working of metals, possibly manufacture of flat laminate blanks and sheets of different type titanium alloys with wide assortment of thickness values of layers and relations of layer thickness.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of diffusion joining of layers of pack of different titanium alloys through sub-layers; using rolled sheet sub-layers of technically pure titanium; realizing diffusion joining of pack layers in vacuum chamber of hydraulic press at evacuation degree of chamber cavity in range (6.67 - 13.3)10-3 Pa, at heating temperature of pack consisting (0.53 - 0.6) of titanium melting temperature, at relation of mean pressure of pack compression to yield limit of titanium (1.5 -3.0) during time period in range 1 - 2 h for applying pressure to pack.
EFFECT: possibility for manufacturing laminate blanks with wide assortment of alloys, thickness values, relations of thickness of layers with highly developed continuous joining of the whole surface or with local joining along perimeter.
