FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: two three-layer packs are made with installation in each pack of the copper plate between the titanium plates with set ratio of thicknesses of layers titanium-copper-titanium. The copper plate is arranged between the packs symmetrically to the welding gaps. Welding is performed by explosion of said assembly by simultaneous initiation of the explosive charges explosion with detonation speed 1970-2400 m/s, at given speeds of collision of the welded plates. The welded blank is annealed to create solid heat-protecting intermetallic layers between the titanium and the copper at temperature exceeding by 25-125°C the temperature of contact melting of the copper and the titanium, for 1-5 min with further cooling in air. In the produced material the titanium layers and heat-protecting intermetallic layers having high thermal resistivity are located at both sides from the central copper layer.
EFFECT: material has high thermal conductivity of separate metal layers at significant time reduction to form the unit of thickness of heat-protecting intermetallic layers during its manufacturing.
