FIELD: mechanical engineering; brake systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pneumatic boosters of brake systems. Proposed pneumatic booster contains front chamber connected with vacuum source, rear chamber connected with high-pressure space, airtight movable partition placed between chambers, control rod, master brake cylinder of brake hydraulic circuit, device to deliver high-pressure medium into rear chamber at application of brakes, and movable pusher. Pusher can be moved axially at one side under action of brake force applied through first device transmitting reaction force and created by movable partition and control rod, and at other side, under action of reaction force applied to it through first device transmitting reaction force from side of master brake cylinder of hydraulic circuit of brake system. Second device to transmit reaction force and move pusher in axial direction under action of force created by airtight movable partition is provided.
EFFECT: provision of effective braking in emergency, improved characteristics of pneumatic booster.
