PROTECTIVE VEIL Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: manufacturing parts of protective clothing.

SUBSTANCE: protective veil is made in the form of bag with hermetically sealed inner cavity, at least part of said bag being made from transparent thermally stable material and fitted with sorption-filtering insert of multilayer fibrous material. Insert is positioned adjacent to user's respiratory organs. Veil is provided with perforated sleeve, whose inner end is positioned in bag cavity and outer end extends beyond bag cavity. Sorption-filtering insert is composed of two parts, each equipped with central opening. Two parts of insert are connected in sealing relationship with one another along periphery, fixed on sleeve and axially divided so that sleeve perforations are arranged between said parts. Parts of insert are fixed in sealing relationship on sleeve with their central openings so as to define inhalation cavity, with sleeve perforations being arranged within said cavity.

EFFECT: simplified structure, light weight, increased extent of protecting user and convenient use.
