FIELD: equipment used in sportive exercisers and computer games.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has optical "mouse" for controlling position of cursor on computer monitor screen depending on movement of playing rod adapted for changing value of resistance applied thereto by changing length of lever, i.e., working part of playing rod. Detachable handles are equipped with buttons and adapted for attachment to one end of playing rod. Keys of optical "mouse" are connected through electric leads to buttons of each handle. Other end of playing rod is made in the form of ball placed in sleeve defining adjustable friction medium for ball, said medium being provided by means of coupler and members disposed in upper and lower parts of sleeve and adapted to rub against ball. Coupler has upper movable plate, lower immovable plate and rubber damper plate. Upper rubbing member, upper movable plate and damper plate are provided with round through openings for displacement of playing rod. Optical "mouse" scans ball surface. Personal computer is connected to system unit through electric cable. Apparatus is attached to base by fastening members and may be equipped with screw and part for preventing upper and lower rubbing members from sliding relative to sleeve. Sleeve may be made cylindrical and threaded. Coupler may include cylindrical threaded tie-rod equipped with droppable handles and disposed in upper part of sleeve. Lower rubbing member and lower immovable plate may be provided with round openings for scanning of ball surface with optical "mouse" fixed on immovable plate. Sleeve may be made in the form of prism with equilateral triangle section, with optical "mouse" being attached to one side of prism for scanning of ball side surface through opening in sleeve wall. Coupler may include movable plate arranged in sleeve lower part. Upper and lower movable plates may be connected by three studs for displacement by screw pair resting upon immovable plate by means of handle connected with screw pair nut of coupler through opening in sleeve wall. Light flux directed from light source of optical "mouse" to ball surface is reflected therefrom to optical sensor input for sensing displacement of optical "mouse" by individual light-guide cables.
EFFECT: increased uniformity in creating of loading and improved continuity of controlling created loading.
