FIELD: sport.
SUBSTANCE: device is designed for using in exercise machines, computer games and for other physical effects during children or grown-ups rehabilitation period. It allows for expanding adjustment range. Device for muscle exercise includes playing rod, several modifications of handles with keys for connection to one end of playing rod, electric cable for plugging into PC system unit, base for unit mounting, optical mouse with keys connected to engaged handle keys by electric leads. In addition, the other end of rod is in the shape of sphere being inserted into cup with controlled friction medium. The said medium is ensured by means of contracting unit and rubbing to sphere elements. They are located in upper and lower parts of cup. Lower element is mounted on fixed plate and the said sphere rests upon it. Upper rubbing element is pressed to sphere by means of pull bars due to the first moving plate. Pull bars connect first moving plate with the second one. Besides, there are circular through holes are made in upper rubbing element and first moving plate as well as in low rubbing element and low fixed plate. Through hole in upper rubbing element and first movable plate are made in order to move playing rod, whereas through holes made in low rubbing element and fixed plate are intended for scanning sphere surface with optical mouse attached underneath fixed plate. Contracting unit includes additional four cone-shaped springs mounted on four pull bars and located between first moving plate and upper rubbing element on common plate with circular through holes springs. Rod fixed to the second moving plate at equal distance from pull bars fixing place and situated under optical mouse. Lever fixed at edges is installed on internal side of cup and connected with rod by one end. The other rod end is attached to shaft of smaller rotation though the slot in cup side by means of flexible non-stretched thread. Small rotation shaft is formed by pinion axis resting upon two poles. Pinion is connected to worm screw forming worm gearing. Worm screw is connected d.c. reversible motor armature drive, which is installed with offset to axis of central symmetry of unit. Further on worm screw, there is a sensor of motor armature revolutions. Signal from sensor is supplied to PC system unit. Besides, there is a zero position sensor and maximum move sensor for lever. Signals from them are also supplied to PC system unit.
EFFECT: expansion of adjustment range for muscles exercise.
