FIELD: woodworking industry, particularly manufacture by dry processes of articles, with or without organic binding agents, made from particles or fibers consisting of wood or other like organic material.

SUBSTANCE: method involves pneumatically supplying fibrous or chip particles 2 to mixing device 8, 8' having horizontal hollow body 35; rotating shaft 36 extending through hollow body 35 substantially along the full length thereof and provided with mixing members 37; transporting the particles to outlet 42 of mixing device 8, 8' by above shaft rotation and by feeding transport air flow to hollow body 35 on reverse end side of the body; applying adhesive to the particles 2 from reverse end side of hollow body 35 through adhesive supply nozzles 43; moving the particles 2 exiting from mixing device 8, 8' to cyclone means 10, 13. Transport air is exhaust air flow exiting from cyclone means 10, 13 and directly supplied to mixing device 8, 8'.

EFFECT: reduced toxic material emission and decreased power inputs.
