Besides, invention relates to a receiving device with the possibility to replace such a filter element and to a method for producing a medium from the cellulose for such a filter element. The filter element (3) is designed in the form of a replaceable element, the filtering medium (59) of which designed the form of a hollow body and located between two locking elements, in particular in the form of end covers (13, 19), is corrugated with separate folds, with the filter medium (59) comprising a filter material from cellulose, wherein a filter for solid particles with an additional filter material (69) is provided and a liquid penetrable support pipe (71) is located between two filter media (59, 69), the filter medium (59) consisting of cellulose, is coated with a filter of solid particles (69), wherein an additional support pipe (63) is provided on the side of the cellulose filter medium (59) extending from said pipe.

EFFECT: invention provides a filter element which, when filtering liquid media containing aqueous-oil emulsions, will ensure a particularly efficient separation of water and will also be characterized by operational reliability and optimum manufacturing costs.
