FIELD: technology for identification of objects with permanently mounted product individualization elements, for example, placards for machines and devices, placards with trademark symbols, industrial symbols, labels with markings, etc.
SUBSTANCE: method includes making additional recess in product individualization element prior to mounting it permanently on object. Recess provides penetrability to optical emission. Method additionally includes selection of surface portion, lighting it, projecting reflected image to plane for positioning of photo-detector, transformation of electric signals from photo-detector output to form, comfortable for processing and recognition, and comparison of produced optical image with previously recorded standard optical image of this portion, while selected portion is limited by edges of recess in product individualization element.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
