FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a video spectrometer for express control of light-reflecting objects. Proposed invention relates to technical physics when using optics and automation. Video spectrometer comprises an object of study, light-emitting diodes which serve to illuminate an object of investigation with spectral-narrow-band radiation, a lens which forms an image of the object on a CCD matrix of a black-and-white video camera, an electronic control unit (processor) and a computer. Device includes a lighting semi-sphere in which there are built-in several groups of luminescent light-emitting diodes emitting in narrow spectral ranges of ultraviolet, visible and infrared spectrum, base of lighting semisphere used for installation of analysed objects, lens for forming image of analysed object on CCD matrix, made in form of objective lens with variable focal distance, television camera based on black and white CCD matrix, a compartment for installing an optical analyser and the analyser itself, a processor which controls the video camera, inputting information into a personal computer, an objective and powering the light-emitting diodes, software for analysing obtained data, as well as a database with a library of reference samples.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the fact that the reliability and simplification of the objects rapid monitoring is simplified by comparing them with the standards and presenting the comparison results in a form suitable for interpretation by the unqualified user.
