FIELD: railway transport; method of fastening tires on wheel spiders.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method interference is set with account of parameters of function of contact liability and waviness of tire inner surface basing of condition of strength of tire at simultaneous prevention of tire slip on wheel spider. Increased traction forces between tire and wheel spider are provided by use of finely dispersed coating of wheel spider surface increasing coefficient of friction between contact surfaces of tire and wheel spider.
EFFECT: increased strength of connection of wheel spider and tire, increased service life of wheels.
