SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in heavy-duty brake drum shoes. Proposed method consists in determination of braking torque depending upon the type of friction assemblies of drum-shoe brakes.
EFFECT: possibility of determination of geometrical parameters subject to developed braking torque with due allowance for preset constraints on brake functions.
