FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to traction electric drives and it is designed for electric vehicles with dc motors supplied from dc system. Two traction dc electric motors are provided. Thyristor converter with control unit is placed between supply source and comparator unit built around circuit with reservoir capacitor, resistor, comparator and electric motor armature windings connected to bridge arms. Electric motors are grounded through series-connected field windings. Diode, shunting armature winding and field windings of electric motors, and pulse generator are also provided. Moreover, device includes counter, decoder, result counter, phase detector, result register, indicator and three switching members. Armature windings of electric motors are shunted by series-connected first and second switching members whose common point is connected, through series-connected resistor and reservoir capacitor, with common point of connection of traction motor armature windings. Output terminals of their switching member and input terminals of comparator are connected with outputs of reservoir capacitor. Output of comparator is connected, through series-connected phase detector, result counter and result register, with inputs of indicator and control unit. Output of pulse generator is connected with first input of counter and second input of result counter. Third input of result counter is connected with first output of decoder and second input of counter. Output of counter is connected with input of decoder. Second output of decoder is connected with input of first switching member, third output, with input of second switching member fourth output, with input of third switching member, fifth output, with second input of phase detector, and sixth output, with second input of result register.
EFFECT: provision of high accuracy of control owing to compensation of changes of parameters of TC-circuit used for separation of unbalance voltage across electric motor armature windings.
