FIELD: electrified transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric traction and it can be used on electric vehicles with dc motors supplied from dc circuit. Proposed device contains supply source, four dc traction motors, twenty one contactors, two thyristors, two diodes, rheostat controller and nine resistors. Thanks to chosen couplings between components, full excitation of traction motors at starting with contactors open is realized, field weakening at contactors closed with possibility of reversing of traction electric motors is provided and series-parallel connection of electric motors is ensured.
EFFECT: improved reliability of operation of speed control device, optimization of starting mode and maximum power mode for economy of electric energy.
