FIELD: chemical technology of inorganic agents.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes carbonization of aqueous suspension of starting material under excessive pressure of carbon dioxide. Used as starting material is natural calcium carbonate at size of particles from 10 to 50 mcm. Process is conducted at T=0-25°C and excessive pressure of carbon dioxide from 8 to 50 atm without additional pH stabilizers. Then, ultra-dispersed calcium carbonate is produced from saturated aqueous solution of calcium hydrocarbonate by reducing CO2 pressure to atmospheric level.
EFFECT: facilitated procedure of method; enhanced economical efficiency.
