FIELD: methods for checking of clinker burning processes in a rotating furnace for production of cement.
SUBSTANCE: the temperature profile of the furnace outer surface is measured with the id of a scanner, the obtained function of temperature distribution in furnace length T=F(L) is approximated by a piecewise function with interval ΔL, the coordinates of dead burning zone X1 are determined - as the beginning of conventional "dead burning zone" and ΔX - as the width of the conventional "dead burning zone" by intersection of function T=F(L) with the horizontal straight line of the preset temperature associated with the quality index by a low correlation factor.
EFFECT: determined section of the furnace temperature profile, whose coordinates are most efficiently are associated with the quality indices of the obtained clinker.
