FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with operations on removing intervertebral discs. Endoprosthesis of intervertebral disc contains two external discs, each having a groove and fixation elements. Endoprosthesis is supplied with a supporting convexo-convex disc with four through openings located between external discs, each having a couple of through openings. Location of openings in a supporting disc corresponds to that of openings in external ones. Fixation elements are designed as P-shaped clamps out of shape-memory material located in grooves. Clamps' ends come through openings onto opposite sides of disks in two interperpendicular planes. Innovation provides safety of movements in intervertebral articulation, prevents vertebral shift and that of endoprosthesis itself at loading in sagittal and frontal planes, moreover, it avoids spontaneous fixator's folding in case of axial and rotation types of loading.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
