FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has functional member having conic base ending in sphere and supporting member having cup-shaped recess for setting functional member sphere. The functional and supporting member have convex threaded outer surface. Longitudinal cross-section of both members is rectangular. End faces of the functional and supporting member have recesses for making fixation in instrument when setting the members.
EFFECT: avoided instability in vertebral motor segment; reduced risk of traumatic complications; high accuracy in setting the endoprosthesis; high structural strength.
