FIELD: processes for making hot rolled wide strips of steels for rolling tubes.

SUBSTANCE: method is designed for hot rolling of wide strips having thickness 8 - 13 mm of steel kinds with carbon content no less than 11% of. Method comprises steps of heating slab for hot rolling; rolling it in rough and finish continuous groups of stands of wide strip rolling mill; differentiated cooling of strip with water from upwards and from downwards by means of sprinkling devices in outlet roller table for further coiling it; heating slab for hot rolling till temperature no more than 1220°C ; keeping temperature of rolling termination in rough group of stands no more than 1030°C; setting rate of rolling strip in first stand of finish group of stands no less than 0.7 m/s; setting total percentage reduction in finish group of stands no less than 70%; setting range of rolling process termination temperatures 840 -780°C; then performing differentiated cooling of rolled piece in outlet roller table while gradually increasing delay value from 14 s for strip with thickness 8 mm till 20 s for strip with thickness 13 mm; setting temperature of strip coiling no more than 610°C.

EFFECT: possibility for providing desired physical and mechanical properties hot rolled products of steels for rolling tube.
