FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: it is implemented slab heating, its rolling in continuous groups of rougher and finishing mill of wide-strip rolling mill, differentiated cooling of strip by water from above and from below by sections of quench in intermill spaces of finishing mill group and on collecting roller table with subsequent winding of strip into roll at the temperature 560-610°C. This task is met by means of regulation of hot finishing temperature depending on finite strip thickness, and also temperature conditions with strip cooling in intermill spaces of finishing mill group. Finishing temperature is determined for strips of thickness from 10 mm till 12 mm inclusive 815-845°C, for strips of thickness more than 12 mm till 16 mm inclusive - 760-800°C, in intermill spaces of finishing mill group regulate surface refrigeration rate of strip by means of cooling rate instability, which is defined from form: V=1.94*Ln(N)+3.52, where V - cooling rate of strip surface, degree/s, N - number of intermill space of finishing mill group.
EFFECT: providing of goal mechanical properties of hot-rolled metal from pipe steel grade in conditions of broad-strip highly productive mill of hot rolling.
