FIELD: heat exchange of equipment, applicable in electric heaters designed for gas heating.
SUBSTANCE: the heater is designed for removal of moisture from zeolite filters installed in the gas cleaning system of the atomic power station. The heater has a body with a cover provided with inlet and outlet branch pipes, insert coaxially installed inside the body forming a gap with the body walls, and U-shaped electroheating components. The insert is made in the form of the upper and lower end plates and a helically wound shell located between the end plates and connected to them with formation of a labyrinth channel. The inlet of the labyrinth channel is connected to the mentioned gap between the body wall and the insert, and its outlet is connected to the branch pipe for passage of the medium positioned in the center of the lower end plate of the insert, butt-joined to the branch pipe for withdrawal of the body medium. The electroheating components located in the labyrinth channel are fastened in the body cover.
EFFECT: provided permanent temperature over the entire length of the electric heater and intensive abstraction of heat.
