FIELD: electric engineering, in particular, engineering of electric heaters, possible use in stomatology for working with wax models, for sterilization of medical tools and also in any other industrial branch dealing with electric heaters, including biology, microbiology, chemistry, jewel craft, anywhere, where it is necessary to perform fast heating and melting of easily melting materials, or heating of objects, positioned inside the electric heater.
SUBSTANCE: in electric heater having body with solid inner hollow and electric-conductive element in form of wire coils, positioned on its external surface, in accordance to invention, coils of electric-conductive element wire are positioned in grooves positioned along spiral and displaced relatively to each other on outer surface of body, made of ceramic material, and their outer surface is covered by electric-isolating material. For aforementioned conditions, electric heater is optimal, in which as electric-insulating material, electric-insulating ceramics are used; inner surface of body has layer made of acid and alkali-resistant ceramic material, step of wire coils increases in direction towards upper end of body, it is provided with thermo-compensating element, enveloping external side surface of body and its lower end, which can possibly be made of basalt fiber.
EFFECT: substantial heat losses decrease, evenness of heating and of temperature field distribution, simplified construction, reliability, efficiency and electric safety during operation, and also possible operation with any voltage without transformer.
