FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: current conducting sections are formed in starting material by fabrication of opposite dead cuts distant from each other by value of spacing chosen in advance. Dead edges of cuts are made radial and sides of cuts are oriented in parallel to element of cylindrical surface of material used to manufacture electric heater. Side and radial edges of cuts are flanged simultaneously. In process of fabrication of mentioned opposite cuts gap exceeding value of spacing of cuts is left between edge of radial part of cut and edge of material adjacent to it. Tool for manufacture of flexible electric heater from conductive material of high resistance to electric current is produced in the form of punch with bevelled cutting part which has shape of isosceles triangle in cross-section.
