FIELD: polymer materials and composites.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymeric materials science and can be employed in mechanical engineering to manufacture friction units and various-destination mechanisms. Composition comprises polytetrafluoroethylene, carbon modifier, and additionally fluorine-containing oligomer with molecular mass 2000 to 5000 (Epilam, Folekoks), said carbon modifier being copper-containing carbon filler with 0.1 to 80 wt % copper.
EFFECT: increased wear resistance of material, including occasions of being used without lubricants, and improved strength characteristics, in particular tensile strength and hardness.
