FIELD: measurement engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method can be used for diagnosing actuating mechanisms which operation is based on measurement of spectrum of amplitude modulation of current consumed by electric engine. Electric current amplitude modulation frequency spectrum is measured. At any frequency of amplitude modulation the depth of current amplitude modulation is measured. Defected unit of mechanism or system is found from measured frequency of amplitude modulation which unit or mechanism induces emergency of variable load at electric engine. Size of defect is found from measured depth of amplitude modulation.

EFFECT: improved truth of results.
