FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: massager can be used for sanitary and prophylactic body massage. Massager has elastic plaits. Non-removable massage elements made in form of bodies of rotation are strung onto the plaits. Handles are fixed at ends of plait. Plaits are disposed in parallel. Either 'cold' or "hot" massage elements are strung onto plaits. Plaits with cold and hot elements are disposed in order of alternation; handles are fixed at ends of plait to be removable. Massage element can be made hollow and can be filled with refrigerating medium or with medium having high heat capacity.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of massage due to additional thermal-contrast effect.
