FIELD: polymer materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymeric fibrous material compositions with antifriction properties suitable for manufacturing parts for passenger and freight railway cars, in particular parts for leverage brake linkage, as well as for manufacturing slider bearings, friction units of machines and mechanisms in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, and aircraft construction. Composite polymeric fibrous material of invention contains, wt %: cotton fiber 42.5-63, phenol-formaldehyde or cresol-formaldehyde resin 18-43, polyoxadiazole or poly-p-phenylene/terephthalamide or polyamidobenzimidazole fiber 3-24.9, and graphite 0.5-6.0. Optional composite polymeric fibrous material including 18-43% of bakelite lacquer is also described.
EFFECT: improved strength, impact elasticity, and rigidity characteristics at preserved specified coefficient of friction and resistance to stratification under operation conditions.
