FIELD: experimental medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with predicting pathology of retinal macular area. It is necessary to obtain the picture of retinal macular area's fundus due to applying a fundus-chamber. One should measure parameters of the constituents of the main colors, plot diagrams for distribution of the colors mentioned in the picture of ocular fundus in tested patient in 256 brightness gradations. Moreover, one should determine minimum, maximum, mode and median of red color, the range of green color. Then the obtained diagrams for distribution of the main colors should be compared with standard ones by maximum of similarity criteria. Moreover, if minimum of red color is above 126, maximum of red color is above 177, mode of red color is above 138, median of red color is above 146, the range of green color is below 31 - one should diagnose the pathology of retinal macular area. The innovation enables to perform diagnostics for the purpose to carry out pathogenetically aimed therapy in due time.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics.
